More than 75 members of the Anchorage community lined the beach on June 22 to help pick up trash along one of the city’s most frequently used stretches of coastline. This year’s clean-up was considered a great success – more pounds of trash removed (almost 500 lbs), more people involved, more trash art created, and more sun in the sky. AOOS staff joined the effort for the third straight year.
