AOOS would like to let data users know that some data sets usually accessible through the AOOS portal are currently unavailable due to the government shutdown. AOOS streams data through a number of federal agencies, some of whose websites are not being updated during the shutdown. As a result, a number of forecast models or other data may not display on the map in the Arctic Portal, Model Explorer, or Cook Inlet portal even though it appears in the legend. We apologize for any frustration this may cause.
AOOS will make every effort to regain access once the shutdown has been lifted. If you have questions regarding data access, please email Rob.
